Psalms 2:6-12

6 “But as for Me, I have ^{▼▼ Or consecrated}installed ^bMy King
Upon Zion, ^cMy holy mountain.”

7 “I will surely tell of the ^{▼▼ Or decree: The Lord said to Me}decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are ^eMy Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and ^fI will surely give ^gthe ^{▼▼ Or Gentiles}nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ⁱends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall ^{▼▼ Another reading is rule
,} ^kbreak them with a ^{▼▼ Or scepter or staff}rod of iron,
You shall ^mshatter them like ^{▼▼ Lit potter’s ware}earthenware.’”

10 Now therefore, O kings, ^oshow discernment;
Take warning, O ^{▼▼ Or leaders}judges of the earth.
11 ^{▼▼ Or Serve}Worship the Lord with ^{▼▼ Or fear
,} ^sreverence
And rejoice with ^ttrembling.
12 ^{▼▼ Lit Kiss; some ancient versions read Do homage purely, or, Lay hold of instruction}Do homage to ^vthe Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For ^wHis wrath may ^{▼▼ Or quickly, suddenly, easily}soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who ^ytake refuge in Him!
